Who is Lily Llewellyn?
I come from a family that always aspired to be entrepreneurial. It was the family dream. At one point members of my family had a family-owned business, but because of misaligned vision and values and poor communication, family relationships nearly reached cut-off and thousands of pounds worth of investment were lost. I understand what it means to want a business with family and build generational wealth, but not know how to work together or how to make a family-owned business work. I understand the pain of knowing everything is lost.
Blending family and business requires care, because a lot is at stake. My work is based on harmony, trust and respect. Because you, your family and your business are totally unique, you need someone who is qualified and has personal experience, can understand your individual circumstance and adapt to where you're at and your needs.
I'm an experienced relationship psychotherapist (MBACP Accred), business coach and mediator with experience working with individuals, couples and families of all ages. I also have ten years experience of taking care of my own successful businesses.
Most common ways of working together
Mediation
Civil and Commercial Mediation is suitable when there is a specific tension, perhaps a breech of contract, that can be resolved in writing within one day. This is a productive day of understanding and negotiation aimed to find a way forwards.
Retainers
Bespoke retainers are suitable for building systems and structures. They make a habit of communication, collaboration and building trust and unity. Retainers work on a rolling monthly basis and can be paused or stopped with a month's notice.
Audits
Saving hours of time exploring, this comprehensive tool is for family members to share their views about family and the enterprise. Data is put into a report to help measure strengths, disagreements and areas for development.
